Please pray that our upcoming move goes well. We are moving to a cheaper apartment next weekend to lower our expenses. Pray that we be blessed with the ways and means to pay off our excessive debt due to emergencies, medical issues, and other times of crisis. We are discontinuing cable tv also. He has given his heart to the Lord but is still doing the same and does not know how to get out of that place because that is his only income and he is a single dad. He has great influence he needs reinforcement’s in prayer to break this kingdom that Satan is building. Christian musicians replace the evil in his recording studio. Hello my name is Andrew. I'm 17 and just until recently I have been with a very special girl named Spencer. We were going at 5 months today until she dumped me. She had previously dumped me of our fight and how I always was over controlling. My other thoughts at first was our previous argument. I had made her a promise to never take over her life again. She made me say this promise to stay together . Until recently she dumped me and just.... i'm confused and I don't know anymore. I need a clearer vision. I ask you to pray for both me and Spencer. She has a decision to see what would happen with this person she has liked forever, or have come back to me. Pray for me to carry on the promise and hopefully be together with her again. Pray for Spencer because she is at the point where she is deciding if this is the right choice or not. Thanks ever so much. All I want is for me and her to be happy.

We have been together six years, and she recently told me that she felt neglected--and she wanted me to leave her alone. (She didn't say for how long.) I love her and miss her with all my heart. At the same time, the fact that she is not married just doesn't sit right with the fact that I am a leader. Please pray for John Todd, III and family. John Todd, III was born prematurely. He's had so many problems. He's swollen from the waist up and he's got a huge bulge on one side of his head. His family isn't sure if he is going to make it. Pray that God blesses this little child. HIs arm was also broken while being transported to a Baton Rouge hospital. The family is prepared for whatever may happen. Please pray for this little gift from heaven and for his family as well. If it is God's will for him to live, bless him and let him heal. If it is God's will to take this little baby home, he needs blessing and he and the family need comfort knowing that this baby was really meant to be in God's arms.

Wow. I don't know if this is the appropriate place to post this prayer request. But here it is. I have served for about 4 years as a Director of Youth and Family Ministry from 2000-2004 at a couple of different churches. I did this fulltime while finishing my degree fulltime, and raising a young family of four. My committments were spread out, and the health of the congregations were...well... not healthy. I was chewed up and spit out, and chose to take a different path untill healing in my life has happened. I now work as a Financial Rep with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. It seems like each day I long to be where you are (Youth Ministers, that is). In the trenches with the youth and their families. Teaching. Leading. Following. Being a shoulder to cry on in the bad times. Having a laugh during the good times. Leading overnighters. Seeing lives change as a direct result of Christ. Is it possible that I am being "called" "back" to professional ministry? A position at a great church in my town just opened up. I am considering it, but I am also terrified, in an excited kind of way. Please pray for God's presence in my decisions. Thank you.

My son is in the 501st airborne army rangers. They returned from a 9 month stay in Afghanistan on the 17th of August. My son's wife gave birth to our first grandson in Jan. of this year. When he turned 3 months old my wife and daughter went to Alaska and brought him here to live with us. My son's wife stated that she didn't have time to raise a baby. But about 2 weeks before my son was to return from his stay in Afghanistan she called and said she was coming to get the baby. Well she did and we were forced to give the baby back to her. She just wants the child support. Her twin sister told my son that the baby is not in a good atmosphere with his mother. We just received information that the baby may be very sick not being fed formula like he should be he could be dehydrating. My son is trying to get his hands on the baby so he can take him to the hospital. My wife and I are heart broken. Please pray that the Lord will have mercy on this baby and that my son will win custody of him. There is much more to this story but maybe this will give you something to think about while you help us pray for this situation.Lord bless

We expect him to be serving for a year. He has a wife and 2 young daughters. Please pray for his safety, and for comfort for his family. Also, please pray for our congregation during this time. Yesterday, I woke up to the smell of smoke drifting in my open window. I noticed how quiet it was in my house and I heard my neighbor shouting out the window, "Is the power off everywhere?" This prompted me out of bed and I looked out the window to see the street covered in a cloud of smoke. As I went downstairs to see where the smoke was coming from I looked out my back window and saw firemen all over my backyard. Our church was on fire! A fire had torn through our ceiling and the ceiling fell into our sanctuary. Though we lost the use of our building we were still able to salvage a large majority of our things. And I say 'things' because that is all they are. We were blessed that no one was hurt, we are all still here. The firefighters were incredible! This job took them ten hours. They came from all over Central PA from 3 different counties and over 15 different fire companies. We are forever grateful for how they took the time to salvage everything they could. They did not have to do that but they cared enough to do so. We met as a congregation the same night and we were quickly reminded that the church is not a building. We are on our way to recovery and we know that we will eventually rebuild. So, I ask for your prayers as we begin a long healing process. Please pray for the leaders of the church as we make decisions and plans for the future of our congregation.

Greetings brothers and sisters, I find myself in a pickle. I have been serving this congregation for over a year now and things are not going well for me. I am not perfect at what I do, but I take pride in my abilities, however the Pr. that I work with and I are not working together as well as we did when he first joined the church. I am afraid that I will need to look elsewhere for employment. Please pray that God would step in a shed light for both of us to give us both a clear direction for me and my ministry either here or for another congregation.

We need prayer for our daughter Lauren who is 19. She is recently involved in sexual activity, drugs and alcohol. Just this past year or so she started hanging out with a really bad group of people. Gary is a youth worker who was recently asked to resign from his position because of alligations of sexual harrasment with one of his youth. Gary completely denies all alligations. He and his wife and two very young children live in the church parsonage and have been given eviction notice of 30 days. At this time he is having great difficulty finding work. He is currently without a job and may soon be homeless. Please keep Gary in your prayers.

Please offer prayers for my nephew 26 who has just been diagnosed with testicular cancer that has spread to his liver and lung. Also for his wife of only one month Tracey!! All prayers greatly appreciated and needed.
