We have all learned this year how quickly things can change and how we need to adapt to an ever-changing virus. At this point, we are planning on gathering in person for the Extravaganza in Minneapolis in February.
Extravaganza leadership will continue to monitor COVID-19 and the impact of variants, and follow local and CDC guidelines to make decisions and set protocols in the best interest of participants. Specific protocols are noted below, and final protocols will be shared no later than two weeks prior to the event. Registered onsite participants who are sick leading into the event are asked to not attend onsite, but we invite your participation online. Unfortunately, due to the expense the Extravaganza incurs when a registered participant cancels or switches to online participation, we are not able to refund payments, even due to illness.

Will vaccines be required to attend the Extravaganza onsite in Minneapolis?
You are required to either have proof of vaccination, or a negative COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours of arrival. We encourage everyone to talk with their health care providers and get vaccinated if they are able. To learn more about the vaccine, visit: https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/covid-19/.
Will masks be required for the onsite Extravaganza?
Masks are an important tool in controlling the spread of COVID-19. It is still too early to determine if masks will be required onsite at the Extravaganza. Final decisions will adhere to CDC and local health department guidelines.
Will there be physical distancing measures?
Extravaganza attendance can be as high as 1,200 participants, who network and gather for large group sessions, workshops, and throughout exhibit areas. Due to the nature of the event, implementing physical distancing measures is not realistic or practical.
Will I get a refund if I’m not able to attend due to COVID-19?
Unfortunately, no. The Network is financially responsible for program and hotel expenses based on our registration counts. Please see the Cancellation Policy for more information. We invite you to participate online and connection information can be emailed to you for you to participate online.
Will I get a refund if the Extravaganza cancels the event due to COVID-19?
We will transfer your registration to the Online Event at the registration rate at the time of your original registration, and refund the remaining balance.
When will we know what safety guidelines/protocols will be in place for the Extravaganza?
We will post the specific safety guidelines participants will be expected to follow at the Onsite Event in Minneapolis by January 27, 2022.
