Thinking About Joining a Cohort?
Everybody Needs a Plan
Finally, beloved, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
Growing in our ministry skills, in the depth of our faith and in our understanding of our call doesn't happen by accident. It happens when we focus on how God is working within us. It is an intentional process, and often best pursued within the context of a supportive community.
The Discipling Cohorts Initiative is a commitment to a path of growth.
You are invited to join a cohort. This cohort will be led by a trained peer coach, and will meet monthly. Your group may meet online or in person. We try to group cohort members geographically, but sometimes cohort groups may be spread across many miles and in those cases, it may not be practical to meet in person.
While we strongly encourage you to attend the Extravaganza, we recognize that this isn't always feasible. If you are unable to attend, please don't let that stop you from registering to be a part of a cohort group.
The nine times you meet, whether online or in person, you will accompany each other, walking through a process of spiritual and vocational growth. For the last 3 months, you will support each other as each cohort member creates an individual plan for development. The group decide how best to share their personal development plans.
